Code of Conduct for Students

  • Students must behave politely at all times and avoid indecent language, fights, or quarrels.
  • Any behaviour causing hurt related to language, religion, caste, or community is strictly prohibited.
  • Irregular attendance, unexplained absence, habitual late-coming, or leaving school without permission can lead to expulsion.
  • Students must wear the school uniform neatly. Improper dressing will invite disciplinary action.
  • School property must be respected. Damages will incur fines, and collective damages will be charged to the entire class.
  • Running or shouting inside premises is not allowed. Students must keep left while using staircases and corridors.
  • Attendance in morning assembly is compulsory.
  • Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or expensive items are strictly banned. If found, they will be confiscated with a fine of ₹1000.
  • Students are not allowed to drive motorized vehicles (cars, scooters, motorcycles) to school.
  • Bunking classes/school is prohibited. Offenders will face suspension.
  • Use of Holi colours, firecrackers, or disruptive acts will lead to penalties including suspension or rustication.
Retribution Card System

To maintain discipline, a Retribution Card system is followed:

  • Issued weekly by wing coordinators and signed by teachers and parents.
  • 3 Retribution Cards = 1 Yellow Card.
  • Yellow Card: Detention during breaks, PT/library periods. Non-compliance results in suspension.
  • 3 Yellow Cards = 1-week suspension.
  • 3 suspensions = Expulsion.
Other Important Rules
  • Identity/Authorization Card is mandatory for entry and exit.
  • Students must arrive on time. Gates close at 8:00 am sharp.
  • Early leave is only allowed in emergencies with Principal’s approval.
  • Wearing steel Kada/jewellery is not permitted.
Prohibited Items and Actions
  • Mobile phones will be confiscated permanently (returned only with leaving certificate).
  • No gifts/presents/return gifts allowed.
  • Only toffees (like éclairs) may be distributed in class.
  • No sports equipment without PE teacher’s permission.
  • No visitors without Principal’s prior approval.
Safety and Conduct
  • No physical aggression, ragging, bullying, or birthday bumps allowed.
  • No leaving class without a valid pass.
  • No bursting crackers or splashing colours during festivals.
  • Students must move in single line and avoid crowding outside classrooms.
Contraband Items
  • No lighter, cigarettes, tobacco, drugs, alcohol, chains, or weapons allowed.
Cyber Safety Guidelines for Students
  • Keep personal information private and safe.
  • Use strong, unique passwords and change them regularly.
  • Be cautious with links/downloads; use only secure sites (https://).
  • Install reliable antivirus and keep it updated.
  • Report online abuse to teachers or counsellors.
  • Think before posting online and practice digital wellness.
  • Use privacy settings on social media to restrict visibility.
Advice for Parents
  • Use parental controls and monitor online activities.
  • Explore internet together with your child.
  • Set rules for responsible internet usage.
  • Teach children caution in sharing personal details.
  • Discuss risks of online friendships and fake profiles.
  • Encourage critical thinking and safe exploration.
  • Engage with your child’s digital activities.
